Supporting people through their grief is one vocation that deserves the highest of respect and praise, however before their uniform refresh through Pacific Uniforms, the families and loved one's attending funerals at the Funeral Home Port Moresby found it challenging identifying who was staff.

The Funeral Home Port Moresby is a locally-owned funeral parlor, and is registered with the Australian Institute of Embalming and the Australian Funeral Directors Association. They are experienced in caring for people in their time of need – and needed a uniform that reflected their professionalism and pride in their work.

Working with our client at the Funeral Home Port Moresby, our team took the time to understand what they needed from their uniform. Not only did we need to working within budgetary restraints, but we also had multiple departments to dress. Each department at the Funeral Home required a fit-for-purpose uniform that helped signal their role within the team, identify them as staff to customers, and complement the rest of the uniform range.

It was important for our client that their team look their best at all times. This meant that the garment fabrics we chose needed to be suitable to the tropical climate and also their role. Pacific Uniforms dressed over 140 staff, working across six departments – Funeral Service, Administration, Mortuary, Security, Maintenance and
Workshop. Each uniform was embroidered with the Funeral Home logo and the department name.
