Sales Manager- TURA
Location: Gordons, Port Moresby

Reporting to the National Sales Manager, the purpose of the role is to identify and secure new business as well as maintain and grow existing relationships that help TURA Sports exceed sales goals. 

 

We are looking for an experienced sales professional with a developed network who can hit the ground running and build TURA through strong relationship management and effectively manage prospects through the entire sales cycle.

 

What you’ll do

  • Hunt our target clients to exceed budgets

  • End to end sales including planning, cold calling, qualifying, obtaining and closing new business opportunities

  • Effectively communicate our USPs to demonstrate the value of the proposal

  • Develop and implement short and long-term sales plans to achieve goals

  • Achieve weekly call and appointment targets 

  • Prepare tender submissions

  • Manage your database and develop a call and nurture cycle in HubSpot

 

About you

  • Minimum 4 years experience in Sales and Business Development 

  • You easily  identify opportunities and are up-to-date with industry knowledge 

  • You have experience using a CRM (we use HubSpot)

  • You’re a driven and confident relationship builder with outstanding interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

  • You have strong attention to detail and take ownership of your development and improvement

  • You create a positive team culture and demonstrate self-awareness 

  • As much as winning drives you to squeeze every last drop out of the lemon, you’re humble and supportive

  • You’re a tech savvy self-starter

  • You have a genuine interest in sport and a network of prospects

  • Experience  in the teamwear or merchandise industry highly regarded
